The east end of Dauphin Island will be alive with runners on Saturday, February 20 when participants of the annual Battle of Mobile Bay 5K hit the streets. Sponsored by the Port City Pacers this popular event draws runners from all walks of life and proceeds go to support historic Fort Gaines. Due to Covid concerns, this year’s event will see a reduced field with heightened safety protocols being implemented from start to finish. The race gets underway at 810am.
